Ghafir is a Malaysian actor and director last seen in An Inspector Calls (Wild Rice). Recent credits include Kingdoms Apart (Esplanade); Lifespan of a Fact, Julius Caesar, Guards at the Taj (SRT); HOTEL, Merdeka (Wild Rice); Acting Mad, Civilised (TNS); Temple, Medea (Cake Theatrical); Gold Rain and Hailstones (Instant Café Theatre).

He was the co-author/director of a recent US-Malaysia virtual collaboration: How To Be Alone. Other directing credits include Armour & Skin (George Town Festival - Hands Percussion/Gamelan Yuganada); The Language Archive (PH7 Productions); Ombak!, Bites of Delights (Rhythm in Bronze); Cinta Sang Arnab (Kakiseni Arts Festival); and was Associate Director for OlaBola The Musical at Istana Budaya.

MFA in Acting (Asolo Conservatory/FSU), and a BA in Theatre Performance (Western Michigan University).

Julie Wee trained as an actor at The Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) Drama School in Melbourne.

This is Julie’s sixth Shakespeare in the Park with Singapore Repertory Theatre. She’s played Portia in The Merchant of Venice, Cassius in Julius Caesar, Miranda in The Tempest, Hero in Much Ado About Nothing and Bianca in Othello.

Julie has also played Juliet in Romeo and Juliet with Wild Rice. Other stage credits include The Fourth Trimester and Normal with Checkpoint Theatre and Wild Rice’s Hotel.

She teaches Shakespeare at NAFA and is a trained Wolftrap teaching artist. Julie is a voiceover artist who runs her own home studio. International advertising campaigns that have used her voice include Sony, Olay, Lux, and The Singapore Tourism Board.

As Deputy Artistic Director at SRT Daniel’s recent credits include The Almighty Sometimes, Fly High, A Monster Calls, C-O-N-T-A-C-T, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare - abridged, Lungs, and Girls Like That.

Natalie is an actress and singer who trained in Musical Theatre at the Royal Academy of Music in London.

Notable theatre credits include: Forbidden City (Singapore Repertory Theatre), Lao Jiu: The Musical (The Theatre Practice), Detention Katong (Dream Academy), The Gingerbread Man (SRT), Shaggy and the Trims (Esplanade), Chicken Little (SRT), La Meh Lions! (Esplanade).

She co-founded Musical Theatre Collective, Fill the Vamp, with the aim of telling genuine and meaningful stories through song and to push the boundaries of Musical Theatre in Singapore. They have most recently staged their first live production, Out-of-Bounds.

Natalie is incredibly passionate about singing and the voice, and has been actively teaching since 2016. She is very grateful and excited to be joining the cast of A Midsummer Night’s Dream!

Timothy is an actor, singer and musician. He graduated from the National University of Singapore, majoring in Theatre Studies. He is a freelance actor who has actively been involved in both the English and Mandarin theatre scene in Singapore. In 2018, Timothy trained with both the SITI Company in New York, as well as the Suzuki Company of Toga in Toga, Japan.

Vanessa is a leading theatre actress that aims to encourage radical empathy through the craft. She has trained under an impressive tutelage of Akiko Otao, George Torbay and Broadway's Mary Setrakian.

Recently, she has been seen as Kit Chan's understudy, Choo in The LKY Musical (SRT) and Maria (Rehearsal) in The Sound of Music International Tour (Broadway International).

Other leading roles include the titular role Aida in AIDA the Musical (Dir. Joe Barros), Tzeitel in Fiddler on the Roof (Dir. Emily Maltby), Esmeralda in Quasimodo The Musical(Dir. Nathalie Ribette), Heidi in [Title of Show] (Sing'Theatre), Pangdemonium's Urinetown the Musical (Dir. Tracy Pang) and playing herself in Singapore's premiere of West End Show A Spoonful of Sherman (Dir. TJ Taylor).

A Midsummer Night’s Dream is Nicholas’ professional acting debut. Having been trained in dramatic writing at New York University, he works primarily as a writer for video games, but has taken to the stage for a number of smaller productions before. As an actor, he has worked with Dixon Place (New York), NYU Tisch, and Yellow Chair Productions. As a writer, his most notable works include: Masquerada: Songs and Shadows, which was awarded Best Single Player Game by Marooners’ Rock, 2017, and A Heart’s Cry, which was a winner of The Singapore Short List 2017. Isabella Chiam is an actor & theatre-maker based in Singapore.

Trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art with a Masters in Theatre, Isabella's recent acting credits include The Fourth Trimester (Checkpoint), (un)becoming (Tworks), Fantastic Mr Fox (SRT) & Snow Queen (Polka Theatre, UK), She has had the privilege of performing internationally in cross-cultural productions across Asia & Europe and was twice-nominated and won for 'Best Ensemble' at the Life! Theatre Awards.

Isabella also has a deep interest in movement, collaborative theatre-making & actor training. She teaches acting & theatre-making at institutions like NAFA & Lasalle and her most recent works include A Collection of Things: Serangoon (Issy x Cher) and The Last Gardener (It's Not About Numbers). Isabella is an Associate Artist with The Theatre Practice, and is a founding member of theatre collective Five Stones Theatre.

Crenshaw graduated from Lasalle College of the Arts in 2015 with a BA in Musical Theatre. From there he worked many productions as an actor, including The LKY Musical (Metropolitan productions), Rent (Pangdemonium Productions), La Cage Aux Folles (W!ld Rice), and Chicken Little (Singapore Repertory Theatre).

In 2018 he was an Assistant Director on Lasalle’s production of Henry V, directed by Adam Marple. That same year, he Assistant Directed for SRT’s Production of Julius Caesar, directed by Guy Unsworth. Crenshaw joined SRT’s Residency programme as an Assistant Director, and thereafter worked on a number of productions at SRT including Guards at the Taj (2018), The Truth (2019), 1984 (2019), The Gingerbread Man (2019), and The Lifespan of a Fact (2020). Since graduating from the Residency Programme, Crenshaw has worked on Personal and collaboration projects, and also started his theatre company MoreLife Theatre.

Vester has performed in numerous films and theatre productions. As an actor, Vester is committed to character-building, always giving more than what the director demands. Along with his undeniable talent, Vester is a real livewire. He has the ability to bring out the best in all of his fellow actors, regardless of age or experience.

 A Royal Central School of Speech and Drama acting graduate, Dennis dabbles in rap and plays the violin.

Rino Junior John is a theatre-trained actor and graduated as valedictorian, achieving a Distinction in his theatre studies. He was most recently seen in The Paiseh Pieces, an original pop rock musical by The Second Breakfast Company.

A Midsummer Night's Dream is Rino's second Shakespeare in the Park with SRT, following Julius Caesar in 2018. Other stage credits include: Imagination Station (Esplanade - PLAYtime!), The Essential Playlist (The Second Breakfast Company), MARS I do This? (Zip Zap Zoom Collective), Ang Moh Pai (Esplanade), and Wheels on the Bus (Freddo Children's Theatre).

Coming from a multiracial family, Rino constantly seeks to draw from his experiences and captivate the audience with his honesty. He looks forward to bringing not only his acting, but his tap dancing and jestering skills to more major productions in the coming years!

Krish Natarajan is a theatre practitioner, actor and artistic director of the theatre collective Patch and Punnet and theatrical creative agency Strawberries Inc. Upon graduating from LASALLE College of the Arts in 2019 with first-class honours in BA Acting, he has performed in SRT’s The Sound Inside (2021), March On’s I Have Something To Say (2022), Checkpoint Theatre’s Brown Boys Dont Tell Jokes (2023) and Wild Rice’s Pulau Ujong (2022) which won Life Theatre Awards’ Best Ensemble . He also directed and co-wrote Patch and Punnet’s Stupid Cupid (2018), The Adventures of Abhijeet (2019) and Fika and Fishy (2020), McBeat and The Little Shake Crew (2022), The Secret Life of Haw Par Villa (2022) and Murder Mystery: A Novel Homicide (2023).
