Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Wrath, Envy and Pride. Each sin conjures up images that will be manifested in the décor and dress code, promising an unforgettable evening. The ballroom at St Regis will be transformed, treating guests to a ravishing feast. Specially sinful cocktails will ensure a wild and memorable time for all. The theme will also no doubt inspire guests to come dressed as their favourite forbidden pleasure.

On Saturday November 29th, IWC Schaffhausen presents The Theatre Ball 2008 by Singapore Repertory Theatre - Seven Deadly Sins, which promises a night of luxury and glittering decadence of the dark, the secret and the forbidden.

The Theatre Ball by SRT was launched in 2002 with the dazzling Venetian Ball, and was followed by the equally successful St Petersburg Ball, Les Liaisons Dangereuses, Gods and Goddesses, and last year's Surrealist Ball - making this one of the most anticipated events in Singapore's social calendar.

"SRT's Theatre Ball is always vibrant in spirit, passionate at heart and spectacular in display. This costume ball is a celebration of theatre coupled with the love and enjoyment of arts and culture. This is our fifth Theatre Ball and it will be no less that spectacular"; says Mr. Gaurav Kripalani, Artistic Director, Singapore Repertory Theatre.

"IWC Schaffhausen has adopted a strong cultural responsibility, which resulted among others in projects with Kevin Spacey and the London Vic Theatre or Cate Blanchett and the Sydney Theatre Company. We are very proud to support also the leading theatre in Singapore with our participation in The Theatre Ball 2008 by SRT and be part of the flourishing Asian arts scene"; says Mr. Andreas Boesch, General Manager, IWC South East Asia.

The 2008 Theatre Ball committee include Celeste Basapa, Olga Iserlis, Shareen Khattar, Dick Lee and Shabnam Melwani-Reis.
