Following the huge success of TLC Classics Stories in the recent TLC Children’s Festival, we are now taking our classics storytelling live! And this time, with a special Christmas edition starring Julie Wee (Shakespeare in the Park – Julius Caesar, The Tempest).

Kids! Christmas is coming and Santa's little helper, Elf Julie, has been working hard in Santa’s workshop making toys for children all around the world.
Curl up with Julie by the fire and listen to stories filled with kindness, generosity and the joy of Christmas, the most wonderful time of the year.

We know you are as excited about the reopening of theatres as we are. However, we seek your help to maintain safety measures required for the health and wellbeing of the community. This is crucial in order for arts venues to remain open in these unprecedented times.
We have highlighted some important measures here for your convenience:
Apart from the measures above and limiting audience numbers, SRT ensures the cleaning and disinfection of the theatre before and after all performances. We have also coated our theatre with Antimicrobial Shield.

TLC Classic Christmas Stories was created with ACCESS in mind. All performances offer a relaxed environment as a standard which caters to children and adults on the autism spectrum and with learning difficulties.
Descriptive language of key visual moments are integrated into the script for blind and vision-impaired patrons. Click here for the Audio Described Pre-show Notes (Text Version).
Additionally, there will be a signed performance on Sunday, 20 Dec at 2pm, to cater for deaf or hearing-impaired patrons.

Julie Wee trained as an actor at The Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) Drama School in Melbourne.
She’s played Cassius in Julius Caesar, Portia in The Merchant of Venice, Miranda in The Tempest, Hero in Much Ado About Nothing and Bianca in Othello. Her other stage credits include Wild Rice’s Hotel and Romeo and Juliet (Juliet); Checkpoint Theatre’s Normal, The Good The Bad and The Sholay and The Way We Go; Toy Factory’s To Kill A Mockingbird (Scout) and The Crucible (Elizabeth Proctor), Skinned Knee Productions' The Woman Who Cooked Her Husband, Our Company’s The Car and Take Off Productions' Mosaic.
Her TV credits include series roles in Moulmein High, Light Years and the internationally distributed production A Gurl's Wurld. She also appeared in an episode of the Australian soap, Neighbours and was a scriptwriter for the Neptuno Films animation series Megaminimals. Julie works as a host and as a professional voiceover artist who runs her own home studio. Companies that use her voice include Visa, SK-II, L’Oréal, Neutrogena and McDonald's.
