Corum, Swiss watch manufacturer presented The Surrealist Ball -  The Theatre Ball 2007 by Singapore Repertory Theatre, that was a night of surprise and fantasy set in a phantasmagoric dreamscape of the bizarre and the mundane. Dining in a suspended cage. Drinking at a bar that is not a bar. Dancing the night away as time rushes backwards on the face of a melting watch. Abandoning reason. Expecting the Unexpected.

The Theatre Ball by SRT was launched in 2002 with the dazzling Venetian Ball, and was followed by the equally successful St Petersburg Ball, Les Liaisons Dangereuses and Gods and Goddesses, and has since become one of the most anticipated events in Singapore’s social calendar.

 “SRT’s Theatre Ball is always vibrant in spirit, passionate at heart and spectacular in display. This costume ball is a celebration of theatre coupled with the love and enjoyment of arts and culture. This is our fifth Theatre Ball and it will be no less that spectacular” says Mr. Gaurav Kripalani, Artistic Director, Singapore Repertory Theatre.
