The Theatre Ball by SRT is regarded by many as THE party of the year. This year’s Theatre Ball, THE INTERGALACTIC BALL, celebrated the best of science fiction through the ages. The first sci-fi movie was made in 1902, with countless films made since to draw inspiration from – so, naturally, our guests came dressed "Out of this World". 

The Theatre Ball is a vital fundraising event for SRT to continue to offer meaningful, high calibre theatre to a diverse audience and focus on grooming and nurturing the next generation of actors, directors and designers. For 2016, proceeds from this Theatre Ball will go to a variety of initiatives including the SRT Student Education Fund - which endeavours to give children from lower income families the opportunity to experience the magic of theatre.
