The Theatre Ball by SRT is regarded by many as THE party of the year. This year’s Theatre Ball, THE LOVERS BALL, celebrated love and great lovers. A suitable theme for the passion and ‘blood, sweat and tears’ that goes into producing the best theatre in the region.

We are grateful that Marina Bay Sands had come forward yet again to sponsor the Ball, which serves as the most important fundraising activity for SRT. This was the last event at the stunning The Crystal Pavilion (former Avalon), and mant cane dressed as the most famous lovers of all times, and indulge in a lovely dinner and dance the night away with new and old friends for a good cause.

The Theatre Ball is a vital fundraising event for SRT to continue to offer meaningful, high calibre theatre to a diverse audience. The funds raised will help us groom and nurture the next generation of actors, directors and designers. Proceeds from this Theatre Ball will go to a variety of initiatives including the SRT Student Education Fund – which endeavours to give children from lower income families the opportunity to experience the magic of theatre.
