SRT Centre for Creative Learning x b_together Stage Camp: The Emperor’s New Clothes

Join us for a week of exciting drama and creative expression inspired by The Emperor’s New Clothes! Mornings will be filled with theatrical fun as we bring this delightful tale to life, while afternoons dive into creativity with our interactive Fashion School. This camp is perfectly timed to complement SRT’s enchanting production of Threads, offering an even deeper connection to the magic of storytelling and design.

Stage Camp by SRT’s Centre for Creative Learning is a devising-based programme that takes on a child-centred, process-first approach leading up to an informal stage showcase on the final day.  

In collaboration with b_together, these full day camps will incorporate a variety of fun activities run by SRT’s experienced teaching artists and b_together’s fantastic team of camp facilitators. Together with an experienced teaching artist, your young actor(s) will… 

• Devise a showcase on the given theme 
• Explore drama skills such as storytelling, movement, and self-expression   
• Develop their listening and communication skills   
• Grow in confidence and stretch their imagination   
• Work together to develop key socioemotional skills such as: expression and building relationships
