An elite fighter pilot sees her skyward career cut short by her pregnancy.
Reassigned to flying military drones remotely, she is stationed in a windowless trailer outside Las Vegas by day and returns to the embrace of her family each night. Soon, the boundaries blur between the desert she calls home and the distant battleground she patrols.
Her once boundless blue skies are now confined to a stark grey screen. As a drone pilot, her perspective shifts, as she’s offered a vantage point that’s both distant and immediate. Confronted by the stark reality of her new role, she must grapple with an inner awakening when faced with a very difficult decision.
Hailed as a "scorching sharp-eyed, timely script" by Time Out New York, Grounded delves into themes highly relevant to today's world, including women's ambition and their navigation of motherhood.
